Vandalism being investigated at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery

cemetery vandalismANDERSON, S.C. - SCDVA is working with law enforcement to investigate vandalism that occurred at the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery over the Christmas holiday weekend.

Vandalism occurred some time between 6 p.m. on Friday, December 24th and 8 a.m. on Christmas Day. Camera footage has been provided to Anderson County Sheriff's Deputies for review.

Visible spray paint that was left on headstones has been pressure washed away. Anderson County Sheriff's Deputies are closely monitoring the cemetery.
