Kiana E. Miller is the Deputy Director/Outreach Coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs. Kiana joined the team in September of 2022 and has a background in digital and broadcast journalism after working for WIS News 10 as a News Producer and Digital Content Producer.  

Kiana was born and raised in South Carolina and intends on using the communications skills she has gained professionally and academically to advocate for Veterans across the state, and raise awareness about the issues that they face. Kiana is passionate about supporting her community as well as taking every opportunity to learn from those within her community. Kiana is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a product of the Williamsburg County School District. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Masters in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Strategic Communications.
