Dan Wrightsman is the Deputy Director of Operations for the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs. He was born and adopted in Seoul, Korea by his parents. He grew up in the Army and after his father retired, he and his family moved to Texas.  Shortly after he moved to California where he graduated high school and enlisted into the United States Army and after thirty years of service to his country, is retiring and ready to call South Carolina home.

Dan has deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. He is married and has two children in high school.
