Jean Brooks is the Lowcountry Regional Integration Officer for SCDVA. She is an Army Veteran who worked as a Personnel Actions Specialist. She received her Associates Degree in Office Systems Technology from Trident Technical College and her Bachelor of Science in Workforce Training from Southern Illinois-Carbondale

Over the last twenty years, Jean has worked in higher education in Army ROTC at The Citadel, Veterans Upward Bound, and Recruitment as the Military Workforce Recruiter at Trident Technical College. Her passion for serving Veterans’ is due to her longline of family who have served and currently serve in the Armed Forces; her Dad, a Retired Senior Master Chief in the Navy, brother Retired Colonel United States Air Force, brother Retired Command Master Chief United States Navy, sister Navy Veteran, and generations of Grandparents, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
