Office Closure

The South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 6th at 8:30 a.m. For a list of Independence Day events happening around the state CLICK HERE.

Bring Claims Assistance Directly to Veterans

The South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs is capable of providing claims experts, benefits information, and resources directly to Veterans through our Mobile Service Vehicles. As resourcing and scheduling permit, organizations hosting Veteran-centered events can request one of our three resource vehicles and members of our Veteran Services team to provide resources at your event. Please read the below criteria before submitting a request.

Submission date (45 days in advance of the event date)

Please allow our team 3 business days to respond. Request approvals are evaluated based on the above criteria and are subject to staff availability and prior operational commitments.
