Who Is Eligible?
- U.S. military veterans who are legally blind
- • Must provide proof of military service or veteran status
- • Must own a compatible smartphone capable of running the Meta AI app
- • Must attend the distribution event in person - glasses cannot be shipped
What Can Smart Glasses Do?
Meta Smart Glasses are wearable technology that can help people who are blind or have low vision learn about their surroundings, read text, identify products, colors and other visual information, and connect with services such as Be My Eyes or with family and friends through Messenger.
Advance registration is strongly encouraged.
Advance registrants receive priority during the first hour. After the first hour, eligible participants who are present, including walk-ins, may receive glasses as supplies permit.
