COLUMBIA, SC (SCDVA) —The South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs’ (SCDVA) in partnership with Harvest Hope Food Bank is honoring service through action during the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This year’s drive will provide assistance for Veterans and South Carolina residents impacted by the ongoing government shutdown. The food drive will run from Monday, November 3 to Friday, November 21, 2025.

According to Harvest Hope, one in eight South Carolinians struggle with hunger. SCDVA and Harvest Hope’s partnership for this community-driven initiative is designed to support Veterans and families in need during the holiday season and ensure that no one goes without access to nutritious meals.
