COLUMBIA, SC (SCDVA) - In honor of Women's History Month, the South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs (SCDVA) is proud to announce a partnership with The Rez Rev, LLC to host the 'March Forward' Career Transition Workshop Series.
The Rez Rev is a South Carolina-based, woman-owned business founded by military spouses. Their team will provide information on resume writing, networking, interview skills, and securing a job offer from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Friday in March.
According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, approximately 200,000 service members transition to civilian life
annually. This series is designed to meet the needs of service members considering South Carolina as their post-service destination. ‘March Forward’ will provide Veterans and military spouses with the modern tools necessary to navigate a competitive job market. You can join these session
"Transitioning from the military is about more than just finding a job; it’s about finding a new mission and a place to belong,” said SCDVA’s Erika Jones, Senior Workforce Development Coordinator. “By partnering with The Rez Rev, we are ensuring our Veterans have access to experts who understand the nuances of military life and the evolving demands of the civilian work force.”
