Greenville VA Clinic Flyer

Greenville, SC (SCDVA) – The Columbia VA Health Care System (VAHCS), in partnership with the SC Department of Veterans’ Affairs (SCDVA) will hold the next Veterans Experience Action Center (VEAC) claims clinic in the Upstate.

The three-day clinic, which will draw hundreds of Veterans from the Upstate and Midlands, will be held at the South Carolina National Guard Armory Readiness Center in Greenville. It will assist all South Carolina Veterans with filing and processing disability claims, as well as bring greater awareness and access to benefits and resources available.

Several Veteran-service organizations including Greenville County Veterans’ Affairs, the Greenville Vet Center, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Vets (DAV), and the Upstate Veteran Alliance Network (UVAN) will be on-site to provide assistance to Veterans and their families.

Veterans who attend the three-day clinic will receive the following assistance:

  • VA Disability Compensation and pension claims filing and assistance for Veteran and Widow benefits.
  • On-site C&P exams (for eligible Veterans)
  • Veteran readiness and employment benefits.
  • VA life insurance, home loan and education information.
  • VA National Cemetery Administration Memorial Benefits.
  • Mental health counseling resources.
  • Homeless, low-income housing and vocational support services.
  • VA Mobile Vet Center (on-site).
  • Vendors and services from community partners.

The VEAC Claims Clinic will be held at the SC National Guard Armory Readiness Center at 902 Perimeter Road, Greenville, SC 29605 on the following days and times:

During the Thursday clinic, the Columbia VA Regional Office will hold a ceremony to honor first responders, military, and civilian victims of the September 11, 2001, World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with a welcome and introduction, Presentation of Colors, singing of the National Anthem, and a keynote address delivered by Columbia VA Regional Office Director, Shelia Jackson.
