Jade Berkley is the Pee Dee Regional Integration Officer for the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs. She is a combat Army Veteran, fighting in the war on terrorism during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom campaigns. After her service, Jade returned to the middle east as a private contractor employed by Triple Canopy as an Armed Security Installation Sergeant. After several years of employment in imminent danger zones, Jade returned to the states to take on an even more stressful role; mothering a young son.

Over the last ten years, Jade has aligned both her career and her passion for service by serving our states Veterans’, underserved population, and persons suffering from homelessness in her role as an Outreach Coordinator for Little River Medical Center. She ended her career in the nonprofit sector as a Regional Coordinator for SC Thrive.

Jade matriculated Francis Marion University majoring in Mass Communications, minoring in African American Studies.
