Elizabeth Martin is the Plans & Assessment Officer for the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs. 

She is a dedicated Army veteran with seven years of service as a Field Artillery officer. She most recently worked as a staff officer focused on planning and executing support programs for families and Soldiers during deployment operations.

Elizabeth was born in Maryland but spent most of her life in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is an Army spouse and the mother of two wonderful children. Elizabeth and her family moved to South Carolina in 2020 following her exit from the military, and she spent the last three years serving in volunteer roles throughout the community.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Liberty University. She is also a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honors Society.
