Steven P. Noonan joined the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs as the Director of Training and Standardization in August 2020 and now serves as the Senior Coalition Coordinator.

He retired from the United States Army in June 2020, upon the completion of a 30 + year career in the Infantry.  He has served at numerous posts in the United States, and has completed multiple overseas deployments including Honduras, Bosnia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Massachusetts.
