Surviving to Thriving SC: Celebrating South Carolina’s Veterans

SCDVA’s Surviving to Thriving SC series shines a spotlight on Veterans across South Carolina who continue to make an impact long after their military service. Each story highlights resilience, achievement, and the many ways Veterans are thriving in their communities—whether through careers, family life, volunteering, or personal growth. By sharing these journeys, we honor their service and celebrate the strength, determination, and inspiration they bring to our state.
