SCDVA partners with Oliver Gospel for winter clothing drive to assist Veterans

COLUMBIA, SC – The South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs (SCDVA) is proud to announce its partnership with Oliver Gospel Mission in hosting a Winter Clothing Drive. The drive is dedicated to providing essential clothing items for Veterans, service members, and their families facing challenges during the holiday season.

As temperatures drop and the festive season approaches, many Veterans may encounter challenges related to warm clothing. In the last calendar year Oliver Gospel has assisted 85 Veterans with clothing, food, and shelter. SCDVA recognizes the importance of coming together as a community to ensure those who have sacrificed for our freedom receive the warmth and support they deserve. All contributions will be dedicated to supporting the Oliver Gospel Mission. The winter clothing drive is scheduled to run from Friday, December 1, to Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Donation items needed are listed below and can be dropped off at the following locations:
