COLUMBIA, S.C. (SCDVA) - The South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs (SCDVA) is thrilled to announce a series of job openings that promise to infuse fresh talent into its dynamic team. In preparation for the transfer of responsibility of Veteran homes in the state, SCDVA is on the lookout for motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to our growing organization.

This role is responsible for providing customer service to the general public, Veterans, widows, and their families by answering
walk-ins and telephonic inquiries pertaining to Veteran related issues. 

This role will serve as administrative support for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Manages meeting coordination, scheduling, set-up and tear down. 

This role is responsible for providing general legal support to the Department with a focus on agency privacy and security compliance and support for state Veteran Home enterprise. 

This role is responsible for executing day-to-day management of the agency's budget and accounting functions.

This role is responsible for providing customer support for enterprise applications, operating systems, endpoints, and peripheral devices, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, problem resolution, acquisition, and replacement.

This role is responsible for performing quarterly evaluations and assessments of VA Nursing Homes and their supporting MEP equipment. 

This role is responsible for managing, enabling, and acting on complex and routine procurement activities for SCDVA.

This role is responsible for serving as lead accountant for reconciling and submitting invoices for payment and other reimbursement requirements (e.g., official travel Veteran Honor Guard Volunteer stipend, miscellaneous individual reimbursement, utility and lease payments).
