Shannon SimmonsShannon Simmons joined the South Carolina Department of Veterans' Affairs in March of 2024 as the Social Media Coordinator.

Born and raised in Columbia, SC Shannon found her passion for digital marketing while attending Winthrop University. After earning her Mass Communications degree, Shannon gained experience in various marketing roles in nonprofits, mental health, and retail industries. Known for infusing her projects with a unique flair, she consistently delivers results that educate and captivate audiences.

In her spare time, you can find Shannon emerged in other creative endeavors including photography and videography.
